This is the clock build by Alexander. He never reads the instructions, looses parts, but somehow always manages to put things together at last. Well, he has build quite a few now, so he must know what he is doing! Good picture showing how the encoder is mounted.
Alexander decided not to mount the RTC, because this clock is extremely easy to set, simply turning the encoder knob.
That looks better. The black finish used here is 'anti-slip- tape, found at the local DIY shop. I like the black screws that Alexander has used here. Gives a much better contrast with the steel top plate, and matches nicely with the other black elements such as the plastic cylinder for the neon and the black finish of the frame. I must get a box of those black screws too. Alexander: "This little 4-tube clock is fabulous. I'm baffled why this clock does not sell much faster".
