IP PTZ Cameras

Please note that IP cameras always have a delay in displaying the video. With PTZ operable cameras this can be annoying. If such delay is undesireable, please check the HD-CVI PTZ cameras that don't suffer from any delay on your live monitor and are much more pleasant to work with.

PTZ stands for Pan, Tilt, Zoom. These type of cameras are equipped with small electrical motors that allow the camera to move in another direction. Besides that, the lens is also equipped with motors to optically zoom in, which increases the detail in the image.

Control is done by mouse connected to recorder, app or PC software. You can also use a joystick controller to handle your PTZ cameras.

It is possible to setup your recorder with motion detection (camera or alarm input) to trigger your PTZ camera and make it move to preprogrammed preset positions. For instance, a fixed dome camera sees motion, and triggers your PTZ to move to another position.
